CarrierSales.com was formed in 2001 when a collection of independent agents pooled their experience and resources to form one of the largest agencies in the country. Today, CarrierSales represents AT&T, Qwest, Global Crossing, Level 3, XO, Integra, TNCI, Paetec and a number of smaller carriers and resellers.

CarrierSales' founding members have been independent agents since 1992. We have gathered top professionals from throughout the industry with experience across carriers. Our average agent has 10+ years of telecom experience.

Executive BIOS

Jim Gledhill - Principal/Co-Founder

Jim Gledhill first made his mark in the telecommunications industry in 1992 when he created National Telecommunication Consultants and CarrierSales.com. Jim is a founding member of the Agent Alliance, the only organized group of telecom agents in the U.S. His expertise in several different telecom areas has earned him multiple to speak at industry trade shows and to submit several articles in Phone Plus Magazine. Jim is certified by FEMA and the Emergency Management Institute for his participation in National Incident Management. JimÕs forward-looking philosophy is key in his successful development of telecom continuity technology and his role in shaping the newly developing telecom industry. In his spare time, Jim is an accomplished fisherman and enjoys golfing and scouting with his family.

Richard Murray

As the General Manager, Richard Murray oversees multiple facets of CarrierSales. Richard manages the primary financial and administrative operations, as well as directing the sales and marketing segments of the business. His broad knowledge of the telecom industry also contributes to his role as a liaison between agents and carriers. Richard brings eight years of telecom experience and over 13 years of operational experience. Before joining CarrierSales in 2001, Richard held sales and marketing positions for communication providers Qwest and XO. Richard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Utah. He and his wife have four children, and he likes to spend his free time gardening, boating, and camping.

James Boase

We recently welcomed James Boase to the CarrierSales team in 2007 as the Commissions Manager and Accounting/Human Resources Administrator. CarrierSales benefits from James's attention to detail and his dedication to issuing correct and timely payments to agents and vendors. James acquired his vast experience in payroll and tax administration while employed for 12 years at Franklin Covey, during which he also earned a bachelor degree in Mass Communication at the University of Utah. James is an avid runner, having recently completed two marathons. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.

Matthew Hender

As the Agent Manager, Matthew Hender juggles multiple responsibilities along the entire telecom process. He is integral from the beginning to the end, giving quotes from carriers, submitting new orders, managing the paperwork and agentsÕ contacts, and solving issues with service and billing. Matthew started with CarrierSales/Telecom Recovery in 2006, after working for UCN for nearly five years. He brings a technical expertise and knowledge base that is balanced with his friendly personality and ability to effectively communicate with clients, carriers, and agents.
